Our Teachers

Dhara Jadav.jpg

Dhara is a passionate yoga teacher with over 1100 hours of training in Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa, which are deeply rooted in India's spiritual heritage. Drawn to yoga's knowledge, healing power, and ability to connect mind, body, and spirit, she began her journey to teaching six years ago in India. Now in London, she aims to bridge traditional and modern yoga through her classes. She believes that our practice on the mat is is a safe space to break free from self-imposed limitations, discover inner strength, and find well-being.

Cat on The Mat owner and occasional cover teacher when the beautiful teachers at the studio need a break to nourish themselves. I teach slow, simple vinyasa style classes that focus on alignment and encourage acceptance of where our bodies are. I am a trauma informed teacher with specialist knowledge of yoga for cancer patients and those living with chronic health conditions. I believe always that yoga is the simplest way to remind ourselves that we are alive - may you approach your mat with openness to find this. :)

Milly Hill.jpg

Milly has a background in physical theatre and working as a barista in coffee shops. Whilst she enjoyed this, she wanted to find something soul-fulfilling that moved her - both physically and spiritually. When her at-home practice started to become more than just flexibility and the benefits began to shine through in her day-to-day life, the path of yoga seemed to offer her just that.
