Our Studio
FAQ's
Our studio has a bathroom where you can change. We do not have showers due to the non-sweaty nature of our classes. We keep it simple at CoTM - leave your shoes at the door, and your belongings in a cubby just inside the studio. The studio is locked and someone is always at reception during class times, so all of your belongings are safe.
Our studio provides quality yoga mats, straps, blocks, eye pillows and bolsters. You do not need to bring anything except yourself, appropriate clothing (i.e. more layers if you are attending a yin class) and water if you would like to have your own bottle.
Our studio uses Momence to navigate customer bookings. When you book your first class with us, you will be asked to create an account with Momence. This consists of your email address and a password. You can either download the Momence app and log in there for future bookings, or book online, where you will then be asked to sign in so that your account and class package / membership is recognised. Click HERE to book.
Our studio operates a generous 6 hour cancellation policy. This means that cancellations made within a 6 hour timeframe before a booked class will not be refunded / the credit will not be returned. Outside of this time frame, the class credit is automatically refunded to your Momence account / the purchase refunded.
CoTM believes in keeping our prices as fair as possible, both to us and to you. We offer discounted versions of our Standard Studio Membership, which include: the Kew Business Membership (applicable to those who work in Kew, i.e. retail workers, local business owners with a physical presence in Kew, or Kew Gardens staff); a discounted membership for NHS workers; a discounted membership for veterans. Please email us to enquire further about these memberships.
If you cannot attend a class you are booked into at the studio, please cancel the booking via Momence. We are a small studio, so this ensures that another yogi can join the class. We ask that you are mindful of late cancellations for this reason. The studio has a 6 hour cancellation policy to ensure that those on the waitlist can join a class if a mat becomes available. This policy means that any cancellations 6 hour or fewer prior to a class are nonrefundable.
We ask that you please try and arrive 15 minutes before your class to allow you to get settled and the class to begin on time. Due to the intimate nature of our studio and reception, late arrivals can cause disruption to the class. We allow late entries for up to 5 minutes after class has begun, but hold the right to not allow late entries beyond this out of respect to our teachers and other yogis. Please email us if you are running late so that we can best accommodate you - we know that life happens. If you are attending an early morning class, there may not be staff at reception - in this case, please wait and do not knock at the door as sound travels. A late arrival that becomes a no show is nonrefundable.
